Service Agreement & Guidelines

Terms & Conditions

Last updated:6 November 2026

Welcome to the official website of PHOENIX LASER (https://phoenixlaser.in). These Terms & Conditions outline the basic rules, manufacturing guidelines, and commercial understandings that govern your use of our website, quotation requests, and fabrication services.

We have written these terms in plain, straightforward language so that you know exactly how we work and what to expect when commissioning laser cutting and metal fabrication jobs with us.

1. About These Terms

By browsing this website, requesting a quotation, or placing an order for workshop services with PHOENIX LASER, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

This website and all associated services are operated and owned by PHOENIX LASER, with workshop premises located in Wagholi, Pune, Maharashtra.

2. Our Services

PHOENIX LASER specializes in custom sheet metal manufacturing, CNC cutting, bending, and turnkey fabrication. Our core workshop capabilities include:

  • Laser Cutting Services: High-precision CNC fiber laser cutting for sheet metal up to 20mm with tight tolerances and clean edges.
  • CNC Laser Cutting Job Works: Custom laser cutting job work for architectural panels, machine parts, prototypes and batch production.
  • Industrial Laser Cutting Solutions: Heavy-duty laser cutting for automotive, construction, OEM equipment and heavy industrial applications.
  • Laser Profiling Services: Precision 2D contouring, complex profiles, slots and holes in ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
  • Material Laser Processing: Dedicated laser processing for mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium, brass and copper sheets.
  • Bending: CNC press brake bending with multi-axis backgauges for accurate angles up to 4000mm length.
  • Fabrication Work: End-to-end metal fabrication including TIG/MIG welding, assembly, tapping, countersinking and finishing.

3. Quotations & Orders

Submitting an inquiry through our Quick Contact popup or Get a Quote form does not constitute a confirmed or binding contract.

All quotations provided by our team are formal cost estimates based on the specific drawing dimensions, material grades, sheet gauges, and batch quantities specified at the time of inquiry.

A quotation is valid strictly for the timeframe or validity period indicated on the formal quotation document or message.

Work begins only after the customer formally confirms the purchase order or quotation and fulfills any initial advance or milestone requirement agreed upon.

If you subsequently alter the CAD drawings, metal alloy, sheet thickness, quantities, or finishing requirements, the quoted price and lead time are subject to adjustment accordingly.

4. Technical Drawings & Files

The customer is solely responsible for the technical accuracy, dimensions, cut paths, layer designations, and completeness of all drawing files submitted for cutting.

Our CNC machines cut strictly according to the geometry provided in the CAD files (DXF, DWG, AI, CDR, or vector PDF). We do not assume responsibility for customer design flaws, scaling mistakes, missing cutouts, or incorrect hole clearances in customer-supplied drawings.

Customers must ensure that vector files are 1:1 scale in millimeters before submission. Please review our File Guidelines (/file-guidelines) for detailed formatting recommendations.

By supplying drawings, logos, or ornamental patterns, the customer warrants and confirms that they possess all legal rights, licenses, and authorizations to produce and cut those designs.

5. Materials & Tolerances

Sheet metal laser cutting and press brake bending naturally involve standard industrial mechanical tolerances governed by material grade, sheet thickness, thermal expansion, and machine capability.

Small variations in edge roughness, micro-burrs, piercing marks, or heat discoloration along cut edges are standard characteristics of industrial thermal laser cutting and do not constitute defective workmanship.

Customer-Supplied Material: If raw metal sheets or profiles are supplied by the customer, they are processed strictly at the customer's risk regarding internal material stress, surface rust, flatness, chemical composition, and suitability for laser cutting.

Custom or tighter tolerances must be explicitly requested, reviewed, and agreed upon in writing on the quote prior to commencing cutting operations.

6. Turnaround & Delivery

Any turnaround schedule, completion date, or delivery timeframe communicated by our team is a professional estimate, not a strict legal guarantee.

Production timelines may be affected by factors such as workshop queue volume, sheet metal raw material availability, machine maintenance, power interruptions, or design file revisions.

Delivery or dispatch arrangements, whether customer self-pickup from our Wagholi workshop or local Pune transport, will be coordinated upon job completion.

7. Payment Terms

Specific payment terms, milestone schedules, and accepted transaction methods are agreed upon individually for each job order and stated on the official quotation or tax invoice.

Invoices must be settled in full according to the agreed milestones or upon job completion prior to release and dispatch of the fabricated parts, unless credit terms have been formally approved in writing.

8. Changes & Cancellation

If you need to cancel an order or make changes to drawings or quantities, you must notify our team immediately before cutting commences.

Once sheet metal cutting, press brake bending, or welding assembly has commenced, or custom raw material has been procured specifically for your order, the customer remains responsible for all actual costs incurred, including material and machining labor.

9. Inspection & Complaints

The customer is expected to inspect finished metal parts promptly upon delivery or pickup at our facility.

Any genuine issues concerning cut dimensions, incorrect bend angles, or discrepancies with the confirmed drawings should be reported to our team promptly, accompanied by clear photographs and dimensional measurements.

We are committed to good workmanship and will investigate and rectify genuine defects resulting from our machining errors in a fair, practical manner.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, the total liability of PHOENIX LASER for any claim arising from our services, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, is strictly limited to the actual amount paid by the customer for the specific job order in dispute.

In no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, commercial downtime, or installation labor costs incurred on downstream assemblies.

11. Intellectual Property

Customer Intellectual Property: All engineering drawings, proprietary CAD files, and custom product designs supplied by clients remain the exclusive intellectual property of the respective client.

PHOENIX LASER Intellectual Property: All website text, branding, logos, graphics, and layout on https://phoenixlaser.in are the property of PHOENIX LASER and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without our prior written authorization.

12. Use of the Website

You agree to use this website in a lawful manner. You must not attempt to compromise website security, introduce malicious code, submit fraudulent or spam inquiries through our forms, or overload our hosting infrastructure.

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions and all commercial transactions entered into with PHOENIX LASER are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.

Any legal disputes, controversies, or claims arising out of or related to our services or website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
